coopathon

The Coopathon was a side event held from 26–28 November during the ICA Global Cooperative Conference at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. Led by the ICA Youth Network, it was designed to immerse youth in the transformative world of cooperativism.

Participants from diverse backgrounds and cooperative knowledge shared space, embarking on a journey that not only expanded their understanding of the cooperative model but also enabled them to create real-life solutions to cooperative and social challenges.

They engaged in a 20+ hour facilitated creation process, moving from exploring personal and sectoral challenges to developing solutions in the form of games. The hybrid online-offline ecosystem optimized learning, engagement, and impact, fostering lasting networks.

Throughout the event, participants collaborated with peers, promoting cooperative values, teamwork, and open discussion. Emerging leaders were empowered to support and inspire one another, building a strong foundation for the future of the cooperative movement.
