coopathon

The Coopathon is a side event from 26-28 November during the ICA Global Cooperative Conference. It will take place at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. Led by the ICA Youth Network, it is designed to immerse youth in the transformative world of cooperativism. 

Participants from different backgrounds and cooperative knowledge will share space diving into a journey that will not only add to their view of the cooperative mode but that will also allow them to create real life solutions to cooperative and social challenges.

The participants will dive into a 20+ hour facilitated creation process that goes from exploring current personal and sectorial challenges to the development of solutions in the form of games. The hybrid online-offline ecosystem is designed to optimize learning, engagement and impact to build lasting networks. All of it working with peers fostering cooperative values, teamwork and open discussion, empower emerging leaders to support and inspire one another building a strong base of the future of the cooperative movement.
